Root Canal Therapy is required when the vessels inside the pulp chamber and canals is diseased and reached to a point-of-no-return to normalcy. Symptoms vary from no pain at all and the presence of abscess that is being drained with a fistula opening inside the mouth, prolonged pain to cold and hot stimuli, pain on chewing, or even referred pain to elsewhere in the mouth.

RCT is needed to remove the diseased tissue and seal the pulp chamber and canals of that tooth. Most of the time, followed by a post and core build-up procedures to retain a crown.
